![]() The participants demonstrated their dancing ability, which was complemented by appropriate costumes and good choreography. They all gave enthusiastic performances in the competition. Kids performed and expressed their talent in the classical, cinematic, western, and folk categories. The program got into full swing, and the participants danced on various themes that suited their preferences and abilities. With this aim, the talented and skilled students of Pearl School Al Dafna Campus (Classes I and II) lit up the stage on 19 th January 2023, with their Solo Dance performance. They feel good about themselves and have a positive outlook on life. Young dancers are able to communicate their feelings more effectively, making them happier both inside and out. It increases coordination and muscle tone and helps to improve one’s mood. Lisa is proud to serve the residents of Little Elm's District 4 and looks forward to continuing to see the Town thrive and grow well into the future.Dancing is a fantastic outlet for children of all ages. Lisa is also a member of the Young Men's Service League and services as the Members Meeting Committee Chair for the West Frisco Chapter of the organization. Jace's Law qualifies kids fostered from out of state but now reside in Texas for pre-K. Governor Greg Abbott signed the bill into law on June 4, 2021. It then unanimously passed the Texas Senate on May 19, 2021. Lisa's passion for helping others brought her to working with members of the Texas House of Representatives beginning in 2020 to inspire the creation of Texas House Bill - 725, also known as Jace's Law, which unanimously passed the Texas House of Representatives on April 1, 2021. Her goals are to keep the Town safe to raise families and prosper for Little Elm's business. ![]() Lisa feels she brings a unique perspective with her strong family values and ability to listen to the Town's needs from a mother's point of view. She enjoys serving her community and helping ensure that the people in her district live in a safe, fun, and vibrant community. ![]() In June 2019, Lisa was excited and honored to become Council Member for District 4 of the Town of Little Elm. She began by serving on the Corbell Elementary PTA as 2nd Vice President. Now, Lisa and Chip are the proud parents of two active boys Ross is 14, and Jace is 5.ĭuring her 16 years living in Little Elm, Lisa has enjoyed being a busy working mom and wife and wanted to be involved in the community she loves. They knew it would be a great place to start and raise a family. In 2005, Lisa married her husband Chip, and they moved to Little Elm in the same year. Lisa is also the co-owner of a successful dance competition business, Synergy Performing Arts Competition. Lisa thoroughly enjoys teaching and inspiring all her dancers to embrace the love, passion, discipline, and excitement of dance. This foundation host camps throughout the year for children with life-threatening illnesses. In addition, Lisa is honored to teach dance for the Camp Cavett Foundation. Lisa moved to the Dallas area in 2002, where she continued to be actively involved in the dance world as a dancer, choreographer, studio owner, and in 2003 she became an instructor for Preston Center Dance, where she created the Adaptive Dance Program for students with disabilities. Following her studies at UCO, she successfully ran an independent dance program through local daycare facilities. She took her lifetime passion and love of dance to the University of Central Oklahoma, where she became a dance major and member of the Kaleidoscope Dance Company.
